Boxshall, Brighton

Envisioned by Jacmax, Boxshall assembles a renowned international team to create 15 grand homes in the heart of Brighton. Sculptural architecture reflects the area’s harmonious lifestyle—designed from the inside out for a sense of rhythm, balance and ease. This landmark collaboration marks the first Australian project for acclaimed Dutch interior designers Studio Piet Boon, who joins local architects Cera Stribley and landscape designers Myles Baldwin Design.

Interiors – Penthouse

Three expansive penthouses occupy the upper level of Boxshall, offering residents  the comfort and scale of a private home with the convenience of apartment living. Thoughtfully designed with unique floorplans, these residences feature three generous bedrooms, multiple indoor and outdoor living areas, lush garden terraces, and a tranquil connection to light, sky, and sea. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame sweeping views, creating an atmosphere that is both open and intimately private.

Architecture

Designed by Cera Stribley, Boxshall’s low-rise, sculptural architecture envelopes a rare corner block in the heart of Brighton. The design makes beautiful use of the site’s generous scale, elevation and north-facing light, through a dynamic typology inspired by coastal rhythms and classical proportions—elements seen within Boxshall’s Bayside locale.

Boxshall Street resides in the heart of Brighton, nestled within the tightly held Middle Crescent precinct. Surrounded by parklands and near the historic Town Hall, this tranquil, tree-lined pocket epitomises the coveted Brighton lifestyle. A short walk to Church Street, residents enjoy proximity to the historic baths, bathing boxes, yacht club, renowned sandbelt golf courses, and gardens nearby.
